Operations Administrative Assistant

Full-Time | 1st Shift

Duties: Primarily provide administrative support to the Cheese Operations Manager, Assistant Cheese Operations Manager, Manager of Packaging Equipment Processes, and Quality Assurance Manager. Secondarily provide administrative support to the Packaging Manager, Assistant Packaging Manager, and Director of Plant Facilities and equipment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe, and ability to utilize other job-related software is required. Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness is required. High degree of professionalism, attention to details, organizational skills, and excellent communication skills are required. Ability to problem solve, and prioritize and plan activities to use time efficiently are also required. An associate’s degree in a related field is preferred. Previous admin assistant experience is preferred.

Scheduled hours are typically 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday.

Minimum starting rate of pay is $19.00 - $19.75 per hour based on experience, skills, and abilities.

Sanitation Supervisor

Full-Time | Late 2nd Shift

Duties: Provide leadership and guidance in the areas of sanitation and act as a liaison to the Quality Department as needed. Primarily responsible to support all phases of sanitation, sanitary design and pathogenic environmental risk control. Ultimately is responsible to understand, communicate and lead sanitation programs and ensure all sanitation activities are being performed in an effective manner.

Applicants must have previous sanitation work experience, at least five years of supervisory experience, and previous leadership experience with a role in coaching/developing team members.

Scheduled hours are typically 6:00 pm to 3:30 am, Monday – Friday along with production Saturdays and some Sundays.

Minimum starting rate of pay is $27.00 - $32.00 per hour based on experience, skills and abilities.

Cheese Store Associate

Full-time  |  1st Shift

Provide customer service and package string cheese orders. The ideal candidate needs to be dependable and have the ability to multi-task. Knowledge of using a cash register and computer skills are preferred.

Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays (40 – 45 hours a week).

Wages: Hourly wage starting at $13.00 - $16.00 per hour.

Cheese Store Manager

Full-time  |  1st Shift

Manage all cheese store administrative tasks, supervise all cheese store staff, prepare store for opening and closing and provide customer service and package string cheese orders. The ideal candidate is someone that has impeccable customer service skills and is dependable and can multi-task. This position is responsible for inventory, ordering, invoicing, shipping and monthly reporting. Knowledge of using a cash register. Basic bookkeeping and experience using Quickbooks is required. Experience with recruiting and supervising staff is required.

Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays (40 – 45 hours a week).

Wages: Hourly wage starting at $20.00 - $23.00 per hour based on experience, skills and abilities.

Plant Maintenance (Electro Mechanical)

Full-Time | 3rd Shift

This job is responsible for maintaining various critical manufacturing and plant operational equipment including boilers, separator, pasteurizer, etc. Responsibilities also include facilities maintenance and extensive preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate should have experience with dairy and PLC troubleshooting abilities. We are also interested in candidates that possess a mechanical ability and are very interested and willing to learn.

Positions available:

  • Monday – Friday, 6:00 pm to 3:00 am
  • Sunday – Thursday, 6:00 pm to 3:00 am

Wages: Minimum starting rate is $22.50 - $32.50 per hour, based on experience, skills, and abilities.

Quality Control Analyst

Full-Time | 1st Shift

Duties: Assist the Quality Assurance Manager with ensuring the administration of the company’s quality and food safety system by assisting with planning, coordinating, directing, and leading plant quality assurance and food safety programs. 

Bachelor’s degree in food science, quality assurance, or other related field is preferred. Three or more years of quality assurance experience is preferred. Previous dairy industry experience is preferred. Related certification(s) are preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to utilize other job-related software is required. Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness is required. Attention to details and excellent communication skills are required.

Exempt position with a typical schedule of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday.

Annual salary based on skills, abilities, and experience.

Machine Repair Maintenance/Operator

Full-Time | 2nd Shift

Duties: Perform machine repair and preventative maintenance of packaging equipment. To include but not limited to: Thermoforming machines, automated cheese loading equipment, Horizontal overwrapping machines, tape machines, and Label printer and apply labelers. Change over and/or move machines to setup lines for production, make adjustments, weekly PM work, emergency breakdown repairs, and manage line operations to keep lines performing at maximum efficiency.

Electrical and welding experience is preferred but not required. This position requires the ability to constantly walk and stand; frequently lift up to 50 lbs.; occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.; and frequently bend twist, squat, stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and push.

Monday-Friday, 2:00 pm – 1:00 am. Some Saturday overtime hours are expected.

Hourly wage between $22.65 - $32.40 based on experience, skills, and abilities. Two end of year profit sharing bonus. Raises are based on your skills (Up to $1.00 per hour available to earn each review). If you learn more and can do more between review periods you can get paid more.

Plant Maintenance Electrician

Full-Time | 3rd Shift

Duties: This position is responsible for performing electrical maintenance tasks on plant utility and process infrastructure. This position is also responsible to assist mechanics as needed for continuous plant operation.

Ability to perform any necessary electrical work in the plant including but not limited to installation, repair, modification, and preventative maintenance of electrical systems. Must have five years of experience in plant electrical maintenance, three years of experience in automation system maintenance. A Wisconsin Electrician Journeyman license (or greater) or equivalent field experience required.

Monday – Friday, 10:00 pm – 7:00 am.

Wages: $31.50 to $36.00 per hour based on experience, skills, abilities.

Cheesemaker (or Table Operator)

Full-Time  |  2nd Shift

Cheesemakers use critical decision-making skills to make cheese and manage product flow throughout the production area while maintaining high food quality and food safety standards.

Table operators work under the supervision of a licensed Cheesemaker to assist in making cheese while maintaining high quality in food and safety standards.

The position requires the ability to constantly walk and stand, frequently reach forward and overhead, occasionally lift 10 – 80 lbs., and occasionally bend and twist. Dairy or food manufacturing experience is preferred. Current cheesemaker’s license is preferred. Reliability and dependability are critical.

Scheduled hours will be 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Monday – Friday and scheduled production Saturdays. Shift times will vary slightly on an occasional basis to cover for department absences.

Hourly wage starting at $22.15 - $23.65 based on experience, skills, and abilities.

Sanitation

Full-Time | 3rd Shift

Under the supervision of a licensed Cheesemaker, perform manual labor involved in the cheese-making process, constantly monitor the equipment to ensure that everything is operating effectively, and constantly monitor the product to ensure high quality and high food safety standards. Clean the facility including floors and equipment while maintaining high food safety standards. This includes CIP (Clean in place) equipment.

The position requires the ability to constantly walk and stand; frequently lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift up to 80 pounds; and constantly bend, twist, squat, stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and push. Dairy or food manufacturing experience is a plus. Previous production and/or sanitation experience is also preferred.

Shifts normally starts at 6:00 pm and ends around 3:30 am, Monday – Friday, with some weekend hours expected at various times throughout the year.

Hourly wage starting at $22.90 - $24.05 based on experience, skills, and abilities.

Packaging Worker

Full-Time | 2nd Shift

Duties: handling and filling sticks of string cheese into a variety of packaging machines in a critical food safety environment. The work environment is fast-paced and the position requires the ability to stand constantly, and to lift up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis. Scheduled hours will be Monday - Friday with Saturdays as needed. Second shift usually starts at 2:30 pm and ends after all of the cheese is packaged (usually about 9.5 hours).

Minimum starting rate is $21.25 per hour. Final rate, after fully trained is $22.25 per hour.
