Intake

Full-Time  |  1st and 2nd Shift

Duties: Receive and load milk and all other fluid material along with completing applicable sanitation duties while maintaining high food quality and food safety standards.

Prospective employees must be able to constantly walk and stand and to occasionally lift 50 lbs., climb stairs, and climb ladders.

The typical schedule is 88 hours in a 2-week pay period: 3 days on, 1 day off, 3 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on, 2 days off, and repeat. The schedule includes every other weekend and rotating holidays.

  • 1st shift position weekday and weekend shifts will be scheduled 2:30 am – 1:30 pm
  • 2nd shift weekday shifts will be scheduled 12:30 pm – 11:30 pm; weekend shifts will be scheduled 11:00 am – 10:00 pm

Flexibility will be required as this position will help cover for department absences, which could include the weekend, holiday and/or different scheduled times.

Minimum starting rate is $22.90 per hour. Final rate, after fully trained, is $23.90 per hour.

Packaging Worker

Full-Time | 2nd Shift

Duties: handling and filling sticks of string cheese into a variety of packaging machines in a critical food safety environment. The work environment is fast-paced and the position requires the ability to stand constantly, and to lift up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis. Scheduled hours will be Monday - Friday with Saturdays as needed. Second shift usually starts at 2:30 pm and ends after all of the cheese is packaged (usually about 9.5 hours).

Minimum starting rate is $22.00 per hour. Final rate, after fully trained is $23.00 per hour.

Sanitation

Full-Time | 3rd Shift

Under the supervision of a licensed Cheesemaker, perform manual labor involved in the cheese-making process, constantly monitor the equipment to ensure that everything is operating effectively, and constantly monitor the product to ensure high quality and high food safety standards. Clean the facility including floors and equipment while maintaining high food safety standards. This includes CIP (Clean in place) equipment.

The position requires the ability to constantly walk and stand; frequently lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift up to 80 pounds; and constantly bend, twist, squat, stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and push. Dairy or food manufacturing experience is a plus. Previous production and/or sanitation experience is also preferred.

Shifts normally starts at 6:00 pm and ends around 3:30 am, Monday – Friday, with some weekend hours expected at various times throughout the year.

Hourly wage starting at $23.65 - $24.75 based on experience, skills, and abilities.

Plant Maintenance Supervisor

Full-Time | 3rd Shift

Duties: Assist the Director of Plant Facilities and Equipment in supervision of all staff within the Plant Maintenance Department, providing leadership and guidance to these staff to achieve department goals. Assist the Director of Plant Facilities and Equipment with coordinating activities relating to maintenance to be efficient and cost effective, ensuring a consistent operation that produces a safe, legal, and quality finished product for all customers.

Technical college education in a related field is preferred. Previous maintenance and/or food industry experience is preferred. Previous supervisory and leadership experience is preferred. VFD and PLC experience with a strong focus on Rockwell/Allen Bradley product lines is required. Prospective employees must be able to constantly stand or walk; frequently squat, stoop, kneel, crawl, twist, bend, reach forward, lift up to 50 pounds, and use both hands for gripping; and to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.

Scheduled hours are typically Sunday 6:00 pm – 4:00 am, Monday – Thursday, 7:00 pm – 4:00 am, Fridays before scheduled production Saturdays, and additional time as plant needs.

Starting rate of pay is dependent on experience, skills and abilities.

Plant Maintenance (Electro Mechanical)

Full-Time | 3rd Shift

This job is responsible for maintaining various critical manufacturing and plant operational equipment including boilers, separator, pasteurizer, etc. Responsibilities also include facilities maintenance and extensive preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate should have experience with dairy and PLC troubleshooting abilities. We are also interested in candidates that possess a mechanical ability and are very interested and willing to learn.

Positions available:

  • Monday – Friday, 6:00 pm to 3:00 am
  • Sunday – Thursday, 6:00 pm to 3:00 am

Wages: Minimum starting rate is $23.25 - $33.25 per hour, based on experience, skills, and abilities.

Machine Repair Maintenance/Operator

Full-Time | 2nd Shift

Duties: Perform machine repair and preventative maintenance of packaging equipment. To include but not limited to: Thermoforming machines, automated cheese loading equipment, Horizontal overwrapping machines, tape machines, and Label printer and apply labelers. Change over and/or move machines to setup lines for production, make adjustments, weekly PM work, emergency breakdown repairs, and manage line operations to keep lines performing at maximum efficiency.

Electrical and welding experience is preferred but not required. This position requires the ability to constantly walk and stand; frequently lift up to 50 lbs.; occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.; and frequently bend twist, squat, stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and push.

Monday-Friday, 2:00 pm – 1:00 am. Some Saturday overtime hours are expected.

Hourly wage between $23.40 - $33.15 based on experience, skills, and abilities. Two end of year profit sharing bonus. Raises are based on your skills (Up to $1.00 per hour available to earn each review). If you learn more and can do more between review periods you can get paid more.

Plant Maintenance Electrician

Full-Time | 3rd Shift

Duties: This position is responsible for performing electrical maintenance tasks on plant utility and process infrastructure. This position is also responsible to assist mechanics as needed for continuous plant operation.

Ability to perform any necessary electrical work in the plant including but not limited to installation, repair, modification, and preventative maintenance of electrical systems. Must have five years of experience in plant electrical maintenance, three years of experience in automation system maintenance. A Wisconsin Electrician Journeyman license (or greater) or equivalent field experience required.

Monday – Friday, 10:00 pm – 7:00 am.

Wages: $32.25 to $36.75 per hour based on experience, skills, abilities.

Quality Control Analyst

Full-Time | 1st Shift

Duties: Assist the Quality Assurance Manager with ensuring the administration of the company’s quality and food safety system by assisting with planning, coordinating, directing, and leading plant quality assurance and food safety programs. 

Bachelor’s degree in food science, quality assurance, or other related field is preferred. Three or more years of quality assurance experience is preferred. Previous dairy industry experience is preferred. Related certification(s) are preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to utilize other job-related software is required. Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness is required. Attention to details and excellent communication skills are required.

Exempt position with a typical schedule of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday.

Annual salary based on skills, abilities, and experience.
