Shipping, Receiving, & Warehousing Associate

Full-Time | 2nd Shift

Duties: Transfer and store palletized finished good items. Prepare finished good items for shipment to ensure a safe, quality, and legal product is delivered to our customer. Receive incoming shipments and transfer to appropriate departments. Verify and maintain records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.

Prospective employees must be able to frequently walk, stand, sit, climb steps, twist, bend, reach forward, and use both hands for gripping; and to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs., squat, reach overhead, and use both hands for pinching, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation. Prospective employees must also be able to constantly work in a refrigerated environment with temperature ranges between 35° F and 40° F and be able to tolerate working at heights up to 20 feet. Prospective employees must be able to attain and maintain forklift certification. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and organizational skills, is reliable, is self-motivated, and has a strong work ethic. Previous shipping/receiving and warehouse experience is preferred.

The typical schedule is 3:00 pm – 12:00 am, Monday – Friday and scheduled production Saturdays.
 
Wages: Minimum starting rate is $24.00 per hour. Hourly rate after fully trained (approximately 3 – 6 weeks) is $24.50.

Machine Operator/Setup

Full-Time  |  3rd Shift

This job is responsible for performing set up and mechanical maintenance tasks on all packaging equipment. The ideal candidate should be able to perform operate, set up, and assist with repair or PM functions as needed. To include but not limited to: Thermoforming machines, automated cheese loading equipment, horizontal overwrapping machines, print and apply labelers, and tape machines. Candidates will also change over and/or move machines to setup lines for the next days production, make adjustments for quality/performance, and manage line operations to keep lines performing at maximum efficiency.

Prospective employees must be able to constantly walk and stand; frequently lift up to 50 lbs.; occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.; and frequently bend, twist, squat, stoop, kneel, and crawl.

• Sunday-Thursday 10:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Line Maintenance / Preventative Maintenance Support

Full-Time | 3rd Shift

This job is responsible for performing electrical/mechanical maintenance tasks on all process equipment. The ideal candidate should have experience with mechanical, electrical and pneumatic operation of machines. This position requires the candidate to be able to inspect, test, and rebuild, as needed, damaged machine parts, controls, and document defective parts and areas. Also have the ability to install, replace or change mechanical and electrical components according to manufacturer’s specifications. Interested candidates need to be able to work independently as well as with others and have the ability to learn and have a great attitude.

Material Handler/Line Support

Full-Time | 2nd Shift

Duties: Maintain material levels on production lines, remove finished goods pallets as they are completed; assist with product change overs, and maintain film and bag storage, warehouse organization and cleanliness. This position requires the ability to constantly walk, and stand; frequently lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.; ad frequently bend, twist, squat, stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and push.

Hours: 1:55 pm to 11:00 pm

Packaging Worker

Full-Time | 2nd Shift

Duties: handling and filling sticks of string cheese into a variety of packaging machines in a critical food safety environment. The work environment is fast-paced and the position requires the ability to constantly walk, stand, and use hands for grasping, and to bend and lift 4-15 lbs frequently and 16-26 lbs occasionally. Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to a change are required. Scheduled hours will be Monday - Friday with Saturdays as needed. Second shift usually starts at 2:30 pm and ends after all of the cheese is packaged (usually about 9.5 hours).

Minimum starting rate is $22.00 per hour. Final rate, after fully trained is $23.00 per hour.

Sanitation

Full-Time | 3rd Shift

Under the supervision of a licensed Cheesemaker, perform manual labor involved in the cheese-making process, constantly monitor the equipment to ensure that everything is operating effectively, and constantly monitor the product to ensure high quality and high food safety standards. Clean the facility including floors and equipment while maintaining high food safety standards. This includes CIP (Clean in place) equipment.

The position requires the ability to constantly walk and stand; frequently lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift up to 80 pounds; and constantly bend, twist, squat, stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and push. Dairy or food manufacturing experience is a plus. Previous production and/or sanitation experience is also preferred.

Shifts normally starts at 6:00 pm and ends around 3:30 am, Monday – Friday, with some weekend hours expected at various times throughout the year.

Wages: Minimum starting rate is $23.65 per hour.

Plant Maintenance (Electro Mechanical)

Full-Time | 3rd Shift

This job is responsible for maintaining various critical manufacturing and plant operational equipment including boilers, separator, pasteurizer, etc. Responsibilities also include facilities maintenance and extensive preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate should have experience with dairy and PLC troubleshooting abilities. We are also interested in candidates that possess a mechanical ability and are very interested and willing to learn.

Position available: Monday-Friday, 6:00 pm-3:00 am

Wages: Minimum starting rate is $23.25 - $33.25 per hour, based on experience, skills, and abilities.

Change over and/or move machines to setup lines for production, make adjustments, weekly PM work, emergency breakdown repairs, and manage line operations to keep lines performing at maximum efficiency.

Electrical and welding experience is preferred but not required. This position requires the ability to constantly walk and stand; frequently lift up to 50 lbs.; occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.; and frequently bend twist, squat, stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and push.

Monday-Friday, 2:00 pm – 11:30 pm. Some Saturday overtime hours are expected.

Wages: Hourly wage between $23.00-$33.00 based on experience skills, and abilities. Review after 30 days.
