Order Processing Coordinator

Full-Time

Duties will include the efficient management of the product-order process from receipt of the cheese order through the coordination of shipment of the finished product. A primary function will be to establish an amicable and trustworthy working relationship with customers.  The typical schedule will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Wednesday 7:00 am – 12:00 pm, and Saturdays as needed.

Must possess ability to multitask, excellent verbal communication skills, and strong attention to detail. Associate’s degree in accounting is preferred. Previous experience with order-processing software is preferred.

Hourly wage $17.00 - $18.00 (based on skills and experience).

Plant Maintenance

Full-Time

Maintain various critical manufacturing and plant operational equipment including extensive preventative maintenance responsibilities. The position requires the ability to constantly walk and stand; frequently lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift up to 75 pounds; and frequently bend, twist, squat, stoop, kneel, and crawl. The ideal candidate should have experience with dairy or food manufacturing, sanitary welding, boilers, and electrical experience to include VFD and PLC trouble shooting abilities. Technical students encouraged to apply. Scheduled hours will be 4:00 pm – 4:00 am or 6:00 pm – 6:00 am on a rotating schedule of 5 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, and 5 days off. Scheduled days and hours may vary while training.

Hourly wages $23.55 - 24.55 per hour

Packaging Line Maintenance

Full-Time | 2nd Shift

Operating equipment with frequent packaging film changes, maintenance of packaging equipment to keep machines operating efficiently, and preventative maintenance.

The position requires the ability to constantly walk and stand; frequently lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift up to 75 pounds; and frequently bend, twist, squat, stoop, kneel, and crawl. Dairy or food manufacturing experience is a plus. Electrical and mechanical experience is also preferred.

Second shift hours are approximately 2:00 pm – 1:00 am. Scheduled shifts are usually Monday – Friday with some weekend hours expected at various times throughout the year.

Hourly wages $21.55 - $22.55 per hour

Sanitation

Full-Time | Late 2nd Shift

Under the supervision of a licensed Cheesemaker, perform manual labor involved in the cheese-making process, constantly monitor the equipment to ensure that everything is operating effectively, and constantly monitor the product to ensure high quality and high food safety standards. Clean the facility including floors and equipment while maintaining high food safety standards. This includes CIP (Clean in place) equipment.

The position requires the ability to constantly walk and stand; frequently lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift up to 80 pounds; and constantly bend, twist, squat, stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and push. Dairy or food manufacturing experience is a plus. Previous production and/or sanitation experience is also preferred.

Shifts normally start at 5:00 pm and end around 2:00 am, MondayFriday, with some weekend hours expected at various times throughout the year.

Hourly wages $19.40 - $20.40 per hour

Packaging Worker

Full-Time | 2nd Shift

Package fresh, ready-to-eat, string cheese into individual and bulk-sized packages, and then box the finished, packaged product ensuring that correct labeling and identification information is used throughout the entire packaging process.
The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; frequently lift up to 25 pounds; constantly walk, stand, bend, twist, reach forward, and use hands for simple grasping and fine manipulation. 

Second shift usually starts at 2:00 pm and ends after all the cheese is packaged (usually about 10 hours), Monday – Friday and Saturdays as needed.

Hourly wages $18.50 - $19.50 per hour
